Weeks 7 and 8 and lots of other goodies.

So I apologize for not posting sooner, but we've been pretty busy.

Both of these pages were made using the Project March and
Project 2011 Dates and Labels by Crisdam Designs.

Slowly but surely I am working on my pages from Xander's birth.
This layout was chosen as Layout of the Day (LOTD) at Gotta Pixel on 3/16.
Yay me!
Page made using the Expecting kit by Crisdam Designs.

My parents (right pic) and my mom's pen pal (for over 30 years) from Australia
and her hubby (left pic).  Hi Dawn and Bruce!
This page was made using the Chipper templates by Colie's Corner
and the Dutch Meadow kit by Kristmess Designs.

I did this page for a challenge at Gotta Pixel.
The template is another one from the Chipper templates
and the kit is Every Which Way
both by Colie's Corner.

This page was made using the new kit Solve A Mystery and
a For Starters #33 template both by Colie's Corner.

This page was made for a challenge at Gotta Pixel.
The kit is Puddle Jumpers by Kristmess Designs.

Check out my cutie patootie on his first St. Patrick's Day!
I used the March Mini from the Everyday Matters Collection
by Ruby Lane.

This kit is called I Am Beautiful and it is by Luv Ewe Designs.
I am by no means a gorgeous super model, but I don't think I am
too disgusting to look at, LOL.  Anyways, I liked this poem and
the pic of me is a fairly recent one.  Yay to Weight Watchers
for helping me to shed some weight!

Last, but not least Chris and I took Xander to the Houston Rodeo a couple of weeks ago,
and I have not even remotely started the layouts to capture that fun day, so I'll give you
a couple of sneak peeks!

It was inevitable that the boy would get a cowboy hat,
I mean come on, we do live in Texas!

This is the freebie pic that Reliant Energy takes for you at the Rodeo.
Pretty nice family pic!

Hugs to all!

New for You!

If you saw my post yesterday, than you saw the kit (Spring Kissed) with which I made this layout!
I love the bright colors of this kit and I love this photo of my gorgeous niece!
Head here to find this kit by Inspirations from Day.

This bright and fun kit is called Puddle Jumpers and it is by Kristmess Designs.
I have never wanted pics of my kiddo playing in the rain more.
Unfortunately, I had to settle for pics at the park, but I love how this page turned out.
Check it out here and you'll see how fantastically cute it is!

Last but not least is a super yummy kit called Sweet On You by Luv Ewe Designs.
It is just full of yummy treats and goodies!
Head on over here to check it out!

Week 5 and Week 6 and a Bonus

Bet you thought I had given up on the whole P52 project?  Nope, just had a lot of other pages that were priority and I had to wait for my "editor" to review.  So finally, here they are, weeks 5 and 6.  I have the overall layout done for week 7, but still have a lot to do.  I am also including a page that I FINALLY finished.  It was the photo that was holding me up on this page.  Enjoy!

Pages created using Project 2011 Dates and Labels; Project January kit, Alpha and Bits and Pieces
all by Crisdam Designs available here.

Page made using the In My Heart kit by Ruby Lane, available here.

Blog header update!

So I have been playing around with making my own papers and elements.  I am nowhere near designing and selling kits by any means, but I like playing around with it.  I made the clover paper and the clover element myself.  I used a commercial use overlay and and a commercial use template for the the other paper and glitter swirl, respectively.  "Commercial Use" products are tools that are made by designers for others to use, either in personal use (as in my case for this blog header) or for sale (eventually I'd like to make and sell my own kits!).  The title was made using the Kraft Alpha by Etc. by Danyale, which I got by completing a challenge at Gotta Pixel in January.  I like how it turned out and hopefully I'll be able to keep changing it up every month.

My Boy My Joy

Hard to believe that my kiddo will be four in just a few short months.
He really is such a joy in our lives and it amazes me to see the little person he is becoming.
I took these pictures a few days ago and the little ham seems to like to pose now when I pull out the camera.
I made this page using the new So Noted kit by Colie's Corner.
You can find it here.
