This is the life!

Howdy folks!  It's me again your favorite soon to be 3 year old!
As usual Mommy has kept me pretty busy.
Let me show you what I've been up to.
Please note I've been REAL busy, so this
posting is going to be very long and very exciting!

One of my favorite things to do is be outside,
and my favorite place to be is on my swing set.

Another new favorite of mine--McDonald's.
They give you toys when you eat there--genius.
I was on a quest for all these cool dragon toys,
but Mommy wouldn't let me eat McDonald's every day,
so I only got four of them.  Now they have these cool
Hot Wheels cars, hopefully I can collect all of them.
Mommy says probably not, but a boy can dream!

Mommy's Mom's Group had a fun activity for us kiddos.
We got to make caterpillars.  He doesn't look like much now,
but wait until you see him in a few more pics.

These are my friends Presley and Jett.
Mommy and I went to the zoo with them,
and Miss Marina, Mr. Cliff and baby Chesney.
It was a lot of fun, we even got to ride a train!

Here I am playing with Jett at the bounce house we
rented for Mommy's Mom's group.  It was a lot of fun!

Here's my caterpillar-doesn't he look awesome?

Mommy and I planted a little garden in our backyard.
We have tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, yellow squash,
zucchini, watermelon, and a blackberry bush.

I can't wait for their to be actual veggies/fruits for me to pick!

Mommy also let's me help out with yard work too!
Check out how I use the leaf blower!

I know-this isn't me, but Mommy went with her mom friends to a place
called Painting with a Twist and made this rockin' painting for
our living room.  Isn't she talented?

Daddy and I spent a good time in the back yard last weekend.
The best part?  Playing with the hose!

Nothing like spraying yourself in the face to cool you down!

After all that fun in the sun, Daddy and I had to get
cleaned up.  This meant a haircut for Daddy and
shaving and showers (or a bath for me) for both of us.
Daddy shaved off his beard and is clean shaven.
I had never seen Daddy with out some facial hair,
but I like the new Daddy.

Next up some pics for a Mother's day surprise for my Grandma's.
After awhile I got a little fed up with all the posing.
This picture pretty much says it all--I'M DONE!

So anyways, moving on.  After Gymboree this last week,
Mommy and I drove out to Froberg Farm and picked some
delicious Strawberries.  At one point I asked her if we were
driving to Grandpa and Grandma's as it seemed to take
forever to get there.  I think we were in the car longer
then we actually picked strawberries, but it was fun nonetheless.
Besides strawberries you pick yourself seem to just taste better!

Wow, I can't believe we are already caught up.  On Friday, while
Daddy was out playing Magic, Mommy and I whipped up Daddy's favorite
cake.  Carrot Cake.  I was a big helper and stirred, while Mommy assisted.
Why were we making Daddy a cake you ask?  Well, because it was his birthday!

Mommy did a bang-up job decorating his cake!

Daddy did a bang-up job blowing out his candles while Mommy
and I sang Happy birthday to him!

I did a bang-up job eating the cake!  YUMMY!

No Daddy and I aren't fighting over his birthday presents!
I am helping him open them!

Well my peeps, you are now caught up!
It may be awhile before I am able to post again,
as Mommy and I are about to make the long journey
to Minnesota to see all my peeps up there!  Oh and we're not flying either.
That's right---ROAD TRIP!
Think positive thoughts for our safe journey to and from,
and I'll talk to you on the flipside!
