It's almost Christmas!

Can you believe it is almost Christmas?  

Me either.   Seems like just yesterday I was talking to the "Big Guy"

about what I wanted and now in two days he'll be here!  

I've been trying real hard to be EXTRA good.  

Here's hoping!  

Anywho's, today Mommy took me to get my first real haircut.  

I barely moved a muscle and as a result I got to have a lollipop!  

Oh and my hair looks pretty good too!  Check it out!

Yes, Mommy let the lady spike up my hair.  

She says it looks cute--I don't know.

Anyways, I'll be back after Christmas, hopefully

 talking about how awesome my Bat Cave and Joker toys are!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

What up Peeps!  Some of my favorite people are experiencing a snow day today.  We are not.  I wish it would snow, so I can have fun again like I did last year.  Mommy and Daddy do not really appreciate snow or cold weather having grown up in the frosty tundra that is Northern Minnesota.  Myself having only seen snow twice in my three and a half years would like to see more.

My first snow experience at 7 months.  I do not remember it at all.

Surely, I can get one snow day this year.  I have it all planned out.  First we will make a snowman that is TALLER than me, maybe even taller than Daddy (no offense to the tiny fellow that we made last year).  Second, I will make a small snow fortress which I will defend with a mountain of snowballs.  Thirdly, I will use my slide as a sledding hill.  So, if Mother Nature or Jack Frost could see to drop a few inches over Texas, I'd really appreciate it!  Later Peeps!

Colie's Corner is Retiring Some Favorites

The Big Guy!

Well I went to see the big guy himself--yup Santa! 

It was going to be exciting, and I have been talking about it for weeks.  

Grandpa and Grandma even gave me a new Berenstain Bears book about Santa, 

so I could read up on what to expect. 

Once I got there, however, the nerves set in.  

I was expecting a long line, you know some time to build up my courage.  

There was no line at all Peeps!  No line at all!!!!

I played shy (didn't want the big guy to think I was shunning him) and whispered to Santa what I wanted.

Thankfully, Mommy was kind enough to tell Santa what I wanted, so he could hear, and then I sat on a fancy, sparkly box in front of Santa for a quick picture.  Then it was over.  

Well, I guess we'll see if next year is the year.  Here's the pic-pretty cute if I do say so!

Trimming the Tree 2010

What up Peeps?  The countdown to Santa--er I mean Christmas is on! 

We've been busy at our Casa (that's house for those of you who don't speak Spanish).

Mommy made this "Holder of the Boxes"-which she calls an Advent Calendar.

All I know is that little gem has boxes and I get to open one everyday after dinner.  

There have been some really awesome surprises (more on that to come).

What I'm here to talk about today, is our annual Trimming of the Tree.  Man that was exciting (for about 20 minutes-what do you mean we have to hang ALL these ornaments, I just want to hang my ornaments, and all of them, on these 5 branches.  Alright, alright,  I'll move them-Geez!).  It was a family affair with Mommy, Daddy and I hanging all our beloved ornaments, and Mommy and Daddy telling me the stories behind some of them (it was ALL 150 of them!).  Good times were had by all!

I kid, I kid-it was fun (got to stay on Santa's nice list!).
