Carefree

So I am super excited about this page.  

Not only because I just love the pic, but I also love how it turned out.  

Unfortunately, I cannot take all the credit.  

No, I used the new and fabulous Carefree kit and matching alpha by Crisdam Designs,

available at Gotta Pixel.   

I also scraplifted the design idea from Jen Jockisch.  

Her original layout is featured on page 81 of the March/April 2010 issue of Creating Keepsakes.

But nonetheless, I love it and I hope you do too!

For those about to ROCK!

We took the kiddo to see his very first concert on the 12th.  Imagination Movers--In a Big Warehouse Tour.  He enjoyed it a lot, as did we!  One of my CT designer's Colie's Corner just happened to do a collaboration kit with Sherry Ferguson Designs and the Retro Rock kit worked perfectly for my page about the concert.

Ruby Lane recently had a sale to celebrate her birthday and I used the mini kit And Many More to make this page about my 30th birthday (hard to believe that it has almost been five years, since my 30th birthday, so many things have happened!).  You can find this kit here.

This last page is one I did for a challenge at Gotta Pixel.  I love how it turned out.

Love is in the air, but no snow.

Well we were supposed to get some snow last night.  

I was a little excited, because it meant that the kiddo could play in it 

and then by tomorrow it would be gone.  

Did we get any?  

No, all we got was freezing rain. 

Epic fail Mother Nature, epic fail.  

Well despite the lack of snow and a couple of hours without power, 

we've managed to have fun playing inside!
