Helping Out a Great Cause

June 20th, 2009, the day before Father's Day, Matthew and Jodi Ware of Greenville, SC, lost their precious daughter, Emily Sandra Ware, to SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome). Emily would have been 6 months on the 29th. Matthew laid Emily down for her afternoon nap and she never woke up.

Throughout this horrible tragedy, Matthew and Jodi have been examples of strength and human goodness at its best. They have chosen the road of hope to deal with their grief, and have organized the Peacock Strides for Babies Walk/Run on March 13, 2010 to help raise awareness and funds for SIDS research. Your generous donation will benefit the CJ Foundation for SIDS in its entirety.

They know that Emily would want them to be happy and this walk is a way to preserve her memory, and ensure that this tragedy does not happen to another family. Emily was a beacon of sunshine and happiness. Her full head of red hair, just like her mother’s, was always sticking up in the back, just like a peacock’s, hence the nickname.

If you are available on Saturday, March 13th, 2010 please register for this race.

If not, please consider being a Spirit Runner/Walker.

My friends Anthony and Kim Cato are good friends with the Wares and are raising money on their behalf. If you would like to donate to this worthy cause, please click on the link below.
Thank you for your support.
