7 Months Old!!!

Molly's 7th Month was filled with lots of firsts and finally meeting her Minnesota Family.

7/4/2012--First 4th of July.  Went to a picnic at our friends house.

7/8/2012--Left Texas on her First Road Trip.  Day one was AWFUL.  Molly was not used to traveling for such a long period of time and did NOT like it at all.  It was just me and the kiddos and our normal one and a half day trip became a two and a half day trip.  

7/10/2012--Arrived in Minnesota.  Molly got to meet her Aunties Tawnda and Jessie, Uncles Shawn and Goober and cousins Ella, Grant, Henry and Brooklyn. 

7/11/2012--Got to play with a water sprinkler outside with her cousins.  Best part-eating the grass!

7/12/2012--First trip to the zoo.  Went to Como Zoo in St. Paul with Aunties and cousins.  Got to meet her cousin Evie!

7/14/2012--Picked up daddy from the airport in Minneapolis.  Went to meet Uncle Erin, Aunt Kjirsten and cousin Kailey.  Kailey loved Molly and thought she was just like a little doll.   Stayed the night.

7/15/2012--headed up to Northern Minnesota.  Went to Grandpa Paul's cabin.  Met Grandpa Paul, Grandma Jan and Great Auntie Jan for the first time.

7/16/2012--Got to see Grandpa and Grandma again for the first time since she was born!  Met her Great Auntie Vel for the first time.

7/18/2012--Met her Great Uncle Gary and Great Grandpa Arnold for the first time.

7/20/2012--Met Mommy's cousin Chad and his family.

7/21/2012--Celebrated her triplet cousins 2nd birthday.  Met her Great Aunt Liz, Mommy's cousins Nate and Sarah and their families and many other wonderful friends.

7/22/2012--Headed back to Texas.  Although the trip still took two and a half days, it went much smoother, mostly because Chris was with us. 

7/25/2012--Molly has Gerber Puffs for the first time.  Does really well and keeps improving each time she eats them.

7/28/2012--Molly is 7 Months Old!

 

Molly's 6th Month!

Okay-stop judging.  I know that the kiddo will be 9 months old in 4 days, but life got busy!  So here's what happened during Molly's 6th month.

6 Months Old!!!!!

5/30/2012--Rolled over from belly to back (on her own, not because of her head!).

6/2/2012--Partied hard at Jumpin' Jacks celebrating her brother's 5th birthday!

6/8/2012--Molly took those feet she found and put them in her mouth!

6/10/2012--Sat all by herself.

6/11/2012--Rolled over from back to front.

6/22/2012--Last trip in Infant Carrier Carseat.

6/24/2012--First time riding in big girl carseat.

6/24/2012--First time riding in shopping cart (kept wanting to lean to the side).

Molly at 6 months:  Weight-18lbs 15oz (91%)  Height-27" (90%)  Head-17.5" (91%)

She tried lots of new foods while learning to eat during her 6 month, and loved most of them (not a fan of sweet potatoes and peas).  However, she wanted to do it herself which made feeding her both frustrating for both of us and very, very messy.  We tried several different spoons and self feeders to try and make both of us happy.  More on that in the next couple of months.
