Molly's 5th Month!

As my baby girl will be 6 months old in less than a week (WHAT??  Already??), I figured I better get my act together and get this post done!  So here it is.

5 months old!!

4/29/2012--First time in the Jumperoo!  Loved it!

5/1/2012--Daddy's birthday!

5/4-5/6/2012--Uncle Rudy visits.

5/12/2012--First night in sleep slack instead of swaddle.

5/13/2012--Slept completely through the night.  9 pm-7:30 am

5/15/2012--Molly has pinkeye.  Have to put ointment in her eyes.  Not fun for anyone.

5/19/2012--Slept for the first time in her crib, in her room.

5/20/2012--First time rolling over from stomach to back.

5/20/2012--First time eating cereal.  Liked it, but after a few days of trying her Tongue Thrust Reflex is still to strong, so we decide to wait a couple more weeks.

5/28/2012--5 Months old!  Weighed at home-17.4lbs.

5/28/2012--First Memorial Day!  Spent a fun afternoon/evening with our friends, the Smither's and Roberts' Families.

At five months Molly loves:  taking a bath (I'd say this is her happy place!), her brother (and I mean LOVES him), sticking her tongue out, her mama and daddy.

At five months Molly hates:  getting dressed after her bath, when her brother is at school, spitting up (yup still doing it), her car seat, and napping (very rarely naps more than 30 minutes, which is causing her Mommy to frequently lose her shit!).

This Boy...

is five years old today.
is obsessed with Super Mario Brothers and Skylander's.

loves his little sister and is a great big brother.
has a vivid imagination and loves to pretend.
is growing like a weed.
loves to play.

loves to laugh and be silly.
turned a couple of high school sweethearts into a family.
is loved more than he could ever know.

Happy 5th Birthday Alexander.
We love you so much and are thankful every single day for you.

Pomp and Circumstance

I'd like to interrupt all your Molly viewing for a little peek of ME!  

That's right peeps I am stepping in and reminding you all that I am still here!  

I've been very busy being a great big brother, playing Mario and Skylanders on the Wii 

and of course going to school.  Speaking of school, I graduated from Pre-K today!  

Me and my classmates put on a whole big ta-do for our peeps.  

It was a lot of fun and Mommy only teared up a little!

 4 Months Old!!!

So here's what happened this month!

4/4/2012--Molly shrieked for the first time at Mommy wearing bunny ears!

4/5/2012--First parade.  Xander's Spring Bonnet parade at Primrose.

4/8/2012--First Easter

4/17/2012--Moved into Size 3 diapers.

4/18/2012--Pulled Molly up from lying and she kept her head level and sat up!

4/21/2012--First trip to a museum.  Houston Museum of Natural Science-Sugar Land

4/25/2012--Found her feet!

4/30/2012--Four month check-up.  Great visit and she continues to be meeting all milestones and despite the spitting up, still growing like a weed!  

Weight--16lbs 4oz (94%)  Height--25" (75%)  Head--16.75 (90%)

Molly's 3rd month!!

Well as the little lady is almost 4 months old, I figured I better get this post done!  

Lots of firsts in this month and lots of growing!

So here's a wrap up of Molly's 3rd month.

3/4/2012--Molly's first trip to Brazos Bend State Park.

               Molly squealed for the first time.  

               Last day in 0-3 month clothing.

3/5/2012--First day wearing 3-6 month sized clothing.

3/8/2012--Molly's first rodeo.

               Molly grabbed and held objects hanging from play mat.

               Last day in size 1-2 diapers.

3/10/2012--First day in size 2 diapers.

3/9/2012--Molly blew bubbles/made razzing sound.  

3/17/2012--First St. Patrick's Day

3/26/2012--Molly laughed for the first time!

3/27/2012--Molly's first park playdate.

3/28/2012--Molly is 3 months old!  Weight 15lbs 3.2oz (weighed at home).

Molly started supported standing and supported sitting.  Despite not having a lot of tummy time (due to spitting up) she has very good head control.  Speaking of spitting up, she continues to spit up and the term "Happy Spitter" is frequently used to describe her spit-up episodes.  She will be smiling and talking and out it comes.  Despite the spit up she is gaining weight just fine and continues to meet developmental/physical milestones.
